Hi Aires,

Do you know if Marantz publish any change logs for their firmware updates? I havent been able to find any to date and it would be great to know what they've fixed / added / removed etc

If it doesn't confer a benefit to the user ability functioning of the product or its performance, I'd be highly dubious someone like marantz would actually tell you the technicalities. If it does change something, then I'm sure they would advertise it on their website. Just as long as it's updating automatically or you do it manually every so often, I wouldn't worry what the firmware update is doing.

1) The Spotify Connect Server side of Spotify will be updated. So, the
customer will not be able to play Spotify after updating. (When updating
the firmware of the product, the customers currently using Spotify Connect
can continue to use the Spotify Connect function even after updating the
Spotify Connect Serve.)
2) The specific text characters (Ö) are not displayed correctly when the
customer plays a specific DAB station ("B5 aktuell", "Deutschlandfunk"
and "Energy") in Germany.
The symptom is a problem that the German-specific text characters (Ö) are
not displayed correctly.
3) The specific text characters (é) are not displayed correctly when the
customer plays a specific DAB station ("Air Classique" and "Radio
Classique 101.1 FM") in France.
The symptom is a problem that the France-specific text characters (é) are
not displayed correctly.
4) When the customer receives the FM broadcast and opens and closes the tray
while displaying the radio text, the noise (rattling sound) is heard.
The symptom is a problem that the noise is heard when the customer closes

1) German-specific text characters are not displayed correctly when the customer plays a specific IR station (WDR3 FM93.1 Cologne Live) in Germany.
2) The product cannot play the specific Podcasts (Radio1 RAI, Radio2 RAI) on the Internet Radio. (#3-3-10-20160811-1 by EU region)
3) The noise may occur when the customer plays the specific AAC file bought from Mora (Online music distribution service) by the Music Server or the USB function.
4) The product might be become inoperable when the customer turns on the product by the marantz Hi-Fi Remote App within about 1.5 seconds again after switching the product to standby by the marantz Hi-Fi Remote App.
5) Operability improvement (Improved the reading time of USB memory device): After recognizing (the display will show "ROOT FOLDER") the USB memory device by connecting USB memory device to the product, the customer might take about 30 Sec to 40 Sec to operate the "ENTER and PLAY/PAUSE" button.

1) When the customer connects a specific Android smartphone (Freetel FT142A) to the product by Bluetooth, the product cannot play the sound via the Bluetooth connection mainly because the customer cannot set the product as an output device of audio.
2) If the customer plays some WAV files in the USB memory device and if file name is Ascii character and 2 byte Japanese character and if there are some same Ascii name file, unit plays same song repeatedly.
3) German-specific text characters are not displayed correctly when the customer plays a specific IR station in the following German area by the Internet Radio function.
4) After the customer starts Spotify App by marantz HiFi Remote App and plays music, the product doesn't play Internet Radio mainly because the product cannot be connected with Internet Radio even if the customer switches the input source to Internet Radio.
5) When the customer plays a specific file by USB Memory device, the track name is changed one after another in 25 seconds. (File that the number (01 and 02, etc.) are recorded at the beginning of the name.)
6) The customers not being able to login to the Pandora service from the product.
7) The wrong Usage Data was transmitted from the product even if the customer selects an item of Usage Data to "Yes" with the Setting Menu.

1) Added the feature that the firmware of connected device is updated via Marantz Hi-Fi Remote. (There is a need to update the Marantz Hi-Fi Remote to Ver1.1.0 to use this feature )
2) When the customer selects "Analog In" by Hi-Fi Remote Apps, there is a case in which the function of the product side changes to the Internet Radio.
3) When the customer switches the function of the product side, there is a case in which the input of the Hi-Fi Remote App does not match to the function of the product side

Have you got a link to this 'internet only' M-CR610 firmware (that isn't on the Marantz website) ?

Did you try my link (above) with your M-CR610 serial number?

The update is made only by Internet wireless. At this moment the marantz site only have the old firmware. Is possible to see the atual version in the mcr610 screen?
