What problems?
Arc problems between tv and Marantz. Arc connect disappears(Tv dont find amplifier). Example, When you choose source(in tv source menu) amplifier and try go to amplifier Setup or Options Menus Tv dont find amplifier. Same thing happen if start up amplifier before tv, then tv dont "find" amplifier. I have done several reset and cold start tv and amplifier.

Over the years I’ve found many systems that rely on arc to be problematic , no talking/handshaking , no sound, doesn’t turn things on together works fine one day another has a complete meltdown . That sort of thing! it’s just one of those things and manufacturers rarely if ever will release firmware fixes for the issues. And you’ll be chasing your tail forever.

The only solution for me sometimes is the use of a good old fashioned optical lead instead, but you will lose certain functionality
Or use the the marantz as the switching device. But it will require it to be on all the time unless it has video pass through while in standby, rare but some do.

I’d have everything go into an av receiver and then out to the tv.

Im not familiar with your marantz I might add
