Question marantz amplifier

Hi ! I want to buy MARANTZ PM6006 stero amplifier and I want to buy WHARFEDALE EVO 4.4 speakers. Is the amplifier strong enough for these speakers or I have to look for something more appropriate?

Will the Marantz drive them? Yes. 89db sensitivity and nominal 8 ohm - although they drop to 4.3 ohms - means the Marantz’s 45 Watts will drive them.
Will the Marantz get the best out if these £1200 floor-standers? Possibly not...... they would perform better with a better amplifier. You need to be looking at least a £600 to £800 amp to really get the best from them.

The marantz will absolutely drive them, but a €300 integrated amp and 1k +speakers is a complete mismatch.
