Marantz 6002 amp vs yamaha S500

Hi

I have been using marantz amplifier PM6002 along with 5001 cd player. speakers are Jamo 405 floorstanders. Will a switch to Yamaha S500 85 watts pc bring a remarkable change when comparesed to the PM6002 which is just 45W pc? Which amplifier is better?

I would keep the Marantz. It's way more musical than the Yamaha IMO.
