Marantz 4300 vs. Sony 1200ES

Currently running a Marantz 4300 Surround Amp with a Toshiba 260 DVD and a B&W 600 S2 surround sound speakers, Velodyne 10R Sub, QED Original Cable. In terms of improvements of sound quality/performance would I see a sizeable difference in both Multichannel and stereo with the upgrade to the Sony 1200ES, or do I need to dig deeper into my pocket? I:d dig deeper and aim for the STR-DA3200ES or even the STR-DA5200ES. The 1200ES will offer a reasonable gain, but the more expensive models will deliver so much more. Or aim for the new Onkyo TX-SR605 or TX-SR705 models, which seem to offer a lot for the money
