M-audio studiophile av40 vs acoustic energy aego m ?

Hello 

Im looking at buying a set of speakers for my laptop with a creative x-fi sound card.

They will be used mostly for music and to watch some TV/Movies.

Im looking at getting a set of 2.0 or 2.1 speakers (preferably with amp built in):

Ive seen a few reviews on your site:

Acoustic energy aego m

Im kind of stuck on which to choose - are there any others out there that are better

Im kind of leaning towards the M-audio av40's or the acoustic energy aego m,

I can get both for around the same price,

Which ones will sound better for music?

I'll be getting a pair of these to connect to my pc for spotify .... was supposed to get a pair a week ago, but had to spend the cash on something else

have read good reviews of these ... and can be bought for as little as £70

not sure how they compare, have not heard them, but just going on what I have read so do a bit more research first ....

I am currently using small wharfedale pc speakers that were bought from Tesco's for approx £20 .... (they should be better than the wharefedales)

Ive read a few reviews - and a couple have said they buzz/hum even with no input conected - does anyone else have this problem?

Ive decided to go with the aego as most users seem more satisfied with them than the av40's

I have the Aego M 2.1 attached to my TV in the kitchen. I think they're rather good (for the money). Certainly have plenty of welly and very discrete.
