Lower watt stereo amp vs bi amp onkyo 905

The particular amp i would be considering auditioning this year (should i remain employed of course!) to integrate into my system would be the naim nait xs as i understand the naim gear goes well with neat motive speakers. I probably know the answer already but woudl the naim xs kick the onkyo completely into touch even when the onkyo 905 is bi amped?? Also has anyone else got stereo amp suggestions for neat motive 1's?

No, it would kick the Onkyo out of the stadium.

Thought as much. Can anyone recommend amps to add to a short list for auditioning? I know a memeber uses primare kit with their motive 1's so thats on the list.

Hey Gander,

How did you find the Naim XS compared to your 905 for music?

Also, how did it effect films? The 905 has a superb surround sound stage, did adding a Naim ruin this?
