Hi,
I need to go and buy a ipod or a sony Walkman or possibly another make, not sure which one.
My only knowledge of these machines, is that in the past, when I have listened to friends models with my Grado headphones, I have found the volume to be quite quiet, even at maximum levels, and before anyone suggests it, even after "tinkering" in the menu for half an hour trying to persuade it to behave itself and get a bit louder.
Now, I may just have heard the naffest of models, or just been unlucky, but can anyone offer up models that go louder, if required.
I don't really care how old the model is. I'm not looking for fashion or to keep up with the latest trends or models that can hold ten billion full albums, or turn into duvets if you hold them sideways whilst standing on one leg..........You get the idea.............
Ease of use is also important...I want to listen to music not spend all the while pressing buttons or adjusting settings.
As Albert Einstein said, " things should be made as simple as possible, but no simpler".
Thanks folks,
Neil.
