Th podcast also dicusses the film Independence Day: Resurgence and whether Dolby Atmos has won the immersive audio format war. Spoiler alert: it has.

I haven't seen it but only 9 out of 10 for black level on an OLED don't seem right. I expected more 10s being honest, I just hope they are being saved for the E model.

Steve Withers seems to be saying all of the LG range is vertically the same for 2D picture performance!

When a member on the forum compared an B against an E the picture performance did look similar but the B had a bigger and fatter picture and you could see this with the pictures the person posted. It seems like the B and C are a bit of a bargain though but am still glad I got the E because I think it's stunning.

Interesting too with what he says about the black level being better on the Panasonic.

He also said Oled was not doing HDR10 as well as Sony LCD. He then went on to say that material mastered to Dolby Vision may do better as regards HDR10. Many are saying HDR10 & Dolby Vision are kind of one & the same, but seems to me Dolby vision is slow to take off.
