If you don't want actives which I still think are your best bet for a computer set up, I would look at some speakers that can be wall mounted, I believe Neat Iotas are often recommended, they are about £550. Other options are powered speakers like the Epoz range which is part of Creek/Epos.

I think I will go for the KEF's if they dont convince me they will be returned,

About aplifier. NAD 3020D or Yamaha RN500?

RN-500 has built in airplay and probably, in the real world a little more power. Positioning the LS50s will be the challenge.

Was my first option, I think I can just separate the table desk about 30cm from the wall, that will improve their sound for sure.

NAD 3020D.

Why? Would be helpful if you could give reasons 🙂

The Yamaha is a full sized separate component that needs all of your desk and nothing stacked over it. The NAD was designed to fit comfortably next to desktop speakers. I would pick the NAD for ergonomics.

Oh and the NAD has a pretty good headphone amplifier right?

Never owned that NAD. Best to have someone else answer this from first hand experience.
