I have now colleted my kef's and whilst setting the system up i found that i could not fit the front left and right speaker on my av stand as they block the picture, after some measuring in i now find i can not fit any stands beside my av stand due to the walls.

my question is would it be allright to lay my left and right front speakers on their side in front of the screen.

cheers

the av mount is set on an angle beside a chimney breast and if i wall mount them they will face each other across the front of the screen.

Doesn't sound like you have much choice. From what I've read, the Uni-Q driver in the KEF range means it doesn't matter if the speaker is vertical or horizontal. In fact, on my friends 2005 eggs, you can adjust the stand so the speakers sit horizontally. I can't see any mention of this in the 3005 manual though...
