I picked up a copy of this blu-ray super cheap and thought it would be a laugh to watch in 3D, and yes i have already seen the standard edition and know its cheesey as hell, but just fancied a 3d experience.

Anyway, either my setting on the TV are all wrong or its some kind of joke?

Is it normal for 3d movies to appear green? I expected when you put on the supplied 3d glasses that the red and green ghost images around everything would disappear? Some of the 3d scenes worked, but it just wasnt as good as I expected.

Any tips for optimizing the (old fashioned) 3d experience?

Have you seen other 3D movies that worked for you?

Some people can't see in 3D because their brain only accepts the picture from one of their eyes. In this case if the lens with the green filter was in front of your "master" or dominant eye, you would see everything green.

That aside, yes it is a rubbish 3D film IMO.

Try a much better film, it may just be that it is a pretty poor film!

I watched it in the cinema, and have to say, it was poor to rubbish.

Has anyone seen clash of the titans in 3d, as am up for seeing that?

A friend of mine, who has the worst taste in films gave it 6.5/10. That equates to about 2/10 for everyone else.

As for the 3D aspect, Mark Kermode reckoned there were sequences in the film that actually looked better without the glasses on! It's another retro-fitted effort and apparently is not very well done at all.

Yep, I saw 'Clash...' last Friday.

The film's just set-piece after set-piece. Got boring after about 15 minutes. The original walks all over it.

The worst part though was the 3-D, or rather lack of. I've been impressed with some films for their 3-D during the last year, Avatar and The final destination, for example. This didn't look 3-d. There was no sense of space between foreground and background and there weren't any scenes where anything 'jumped' out at you. I kept taking my glasses off, to check it wasn't a normal 2D print being played.

Still, it had Gemma Arterton in it, so it wasn't all bad.

Damn, it looks so good on the adverts! I've been looking forward to this film for ages......
