Is this a good system?

Am looking for a speaker package in living room,am looking at gettin onkyo Txsr607 and speaker Q acoutics 1010i,is that a good set up?

My wife not to happy with the cables though,is the Yamaha YSP-600 any good,less cables keep her happy!!

The Onkyo and 1010is will give you a great sound for your money and for cd use too. The Yamaha will not come close but will look nicer to the wife. Best idea is either not tell her about the Yamaha or say that it's supposed to be rubbish!

Alternatively, you can put your trust in her willingness to compromise and desire to make you happy.
