Is the Panny TX37LZD800 worth waiting for?

I remember reading that this is pannies flagship model this year and would have 4 hdmi and 30,000 constrast but have noticed o0nline it says 10,000, what gives? I will mainly be useing it for gaming and movies, any info would be great.

30,000 contrast ratio is for the plasmas. (PZ80/85/800)

LZD is the LCD panel. .
