What’s the difference between the LG 55 B42 and LG 55B46 apart from hundreds of pounds?

I'm very happy with my LG 65" C4 I got pre-Good Friday sales. I thought LCD quality on old Panasonic was good but OLED really is on another level. Also, 120khz refresh rate, means no more ghosting (fine for Halloween) and the blacks, no more dirty greys.

I never actually noticed ghosting as my pqevious lg 43un73906le led was itself a step up from the old samsung 40 inch led. But yeah the blacks are pitch black 👍

OLEDs do suffer from so-called crushed blacks where many dark tones all look deep black. Some older video can lack shadow detail.
Standard def broadcast material can look dreadful. Another area where video standards are poor that OLED shows up the most is motion juddering. Many consumers may not notice it but I definitely do!
In general, OLEDs do look amazing, especially with 4k content. I had a Panasonic 42" Plasma - better than LCD but no match for modern OLED tech. The screen was a mid grey when off - not inky black!
