Is Russ Andrews Rave 1 my best bet?

hi - my son has just about all his music on his hard drive, he does have an old'ish iPod but most of the time music is direct from the computer. i was thinking of getting him the Russ Andrews Rave1 usb and the Roth OLI1 speakers for about 300pounds, is this a better option than say the B&W Zepplin (seen in offer for 300pounds) or one of the Onkyo micro systems for same price?

i dont really want to go over this budget and i need to have connectivity to computer

Depends on what other connectivity you need - I'd probably go for the Audioengine A5, or the 140 quid Yamaha CX170(?) Micro from Richer Sounds with some Tannoy F1s, and maybe add an airport express for flexibility.

ok thanks, will have to do some more reading i think, i dont really use computer for music - seems complicated! but will check out your suggestions before i make decisions
