Is my tv up to the job??

With the release of the new 'xbox one' on Friday, I've been trying to work out if my current tv (Sony KDL40v4000) is going to display content correctly. I've read that games such as Call of duty would be running at 60fps, as far as I can see my tv has a 50hrz refresh rate. Does this mean I would have a problem?.

if so any recommendations for a £1000ish tv.

No need to worry your tv should be able to display 60 hz material correctly. Most tvs can. The xbox 360 does a test for 60 hz material so if your tv can display that correctly you should be fine. Remember there were 60 fps games on the 360 too. Hope that helps.
