Is DVD upscaling as good or better on Sony BDP-S370 as PS3?

Had a little move around last night and took my PS3 downstairs to try the DVD upscaling against my Panny player. Seriously, always been pleased with my Panny but i was absolutely blown away by the scaling from my PS3.

Wanting to know is the Sony s370 as good as the PS3 for scaling duties?

Can't remember it being this good last time i tried it..

Yes. I have compared it to a slim PS3.

In my opinion, simply talking about upscaling ability, there's little in it. Motion is definitely handled better by the 370, while the 370 beats the PS3 hands-down for sound quality.

I have both, 370 seems better tbh.... sound is better as well.

The PS3 does have a food scaler. BUT it artificially sharpens edges and loses true detail

The S370 does a better job of true upscaling
