As above, but only for iPhone 5 and iPad Mini Apparently. [bug fix for wi fi overair udpdates etc] Ipad 4 stays at 6.0.1 until IOS 6.1 due later this year or early 2013.

Does the update include any fixes for iOS 6's Bluetooth? 😛ray:

My i5 won't pair with my car's Alpine head unit (HU) - and it seems that iOS 6's version of Bluetooth won't pair with most makes of HU... :wall:

EDIT: Ah, OK, seems that iOS 6 uses the latest, most sparkling version of Bluetooth, which 99.999999% of ICE manufacturers have yet to adopt.

Darn! Another prime opportunity for Apple-bashing denied 😛

What and there's no backwards compatibility? That's pish...

I'll try again |(

Well it works fine in my Transit and I can't imagne that Ford use anything like the latest Bluetooth protocol.

Hmm, it seems that its backwards compatibility is selective: BlueAnt Z9, yes; Alpine HU, no |(

EDIT: Erm, umm, ahh, durrrr... just realised that while I was trying to pair the i5 and Alpine HU's Bluetooth, my old phone was in range of the Alpine, with its Bluetooth switched on and, thus, still paired with the HU

Switched off the old phone, tried the i5 again and it found / paired with the HU in a few seconds 😳
