:help: Is it only selected internet sites that TVs with this function can access ?

idea is that I install one at my club, linked upto a "scrolling" web page, giving info 24/7 to members. What else would be needed ?

Thanks

Is that so? Surely [nearly?] any internet-connected TV can use a browser to access websites??

But to address the OP's question - assuming it's your own website, this seems a bit of an overkill. As bigboss said, why not just connect a PC to a TV or monitor? Then you wouldn't even need a website as such, just stream the information.

An increasing number of top-end internet TVs have an open browser that can (in theory) access any website. But that doesn't apply to all models - some have a 'closed' portal that only gives access to selected apps/sites.
