Interference on surrouns sound system

I am getting horrendous interference on my home cinema-in-box system , which is connected to a Virgin V+, so much so that I hardly bother to use it now as it occurs approx every 30 mins.

I've tried changing all the leads but it wasn't until my phone was out of action for a week that I noticed no interference for the durarion, until the line was fixed and the interference started again.

I saw recently that an i-plate cured electrical interference for broadband/phone lines but would this help me?

Please help as I'm at the end of my tether!

So the walk about phone is the problem?

change it.

I've tried both wireless and a cord phone but no difference, same problem
