Improvement from sony xm3 (ifi go +?)

Someone has given me an IfI go link DAC as a gift.

I currently have been listening to music over Bluetooth using Sony xm3 headphones. I've been told wiring these through my DAC is a bit pointless and I won't get the benefit.

What wired headphones would do the DAC justice and give me an improvement over my current set up?

I don't want to break the bank though 😉

The Sony XM3 is currently around £330 but are you willing to pay the same for wired headphones?

If you are, then go for the Sennheiser HD600

Had mine 20 years and they sound great.

They are legendary and superbly neutral and detailed.
