Importing single tracks into Spotify

Does anyone know how to import single tracks from itunes into Spotify? I have Imported a complete itunes playlist into Spotify, these tracks have ended up in my local files playlist in Spotify. I now want to add single tracks from itunes into the local files playlist in Spotify. I have contacted Spotify and they have sent me an email with the following instruction :

You can drag and drop tracks directly from iTunes into Local files, or into a playlist. Tracks dropped into playlists will also be added to Local files.

Under normal circumstances I have dragged and dropped files before, but I do not know how to do this from one website to another. Can anyone help.

Neither spotify or itunes are websites as such, they are both applications in their own right.

As for the drag and drop, it should be no different to what you have already experienced - just have the spotify & itunes applications open side by side and drag n drop to your hearts content 🙂
