Imporotance of keeping the brands the same in the system

I bought a Pana TX-32LXD70 which I have absolutely no complaints with

. It's only weakness is well documented - that being the sound quality. I knew about this when I got it so no big issue.I have now saved up for the home cinema system and I have a 4m x 3m room with concrete floor. So whilst not the biggest of spaces it will need a good amount of bass to fill the room. I have around £300 to spend and there is a lot of choice. I have heard that sony systems are worth considering, but my main question is 'How important is it to use the same brand throughout'? My logic tells me that if everything is equal then I should go for a Pana SC-PT850 - although I have not found many reviews on this. Is my logic correct?

You can buy any brand you like! its more important to get the best product for your money that to stick to the same brand
