Thanks, bb.Anything that suits my budget and size. I'm not too fussed about technology. Any mid range Samsung / Sony / LG will be fine for me. I'll look more at the OS and will prefer Android (like Sony and Philips) and Samsung (Tizen) over LG (WebOS).
What about an ultra short throw projector? Is that staying on topic? Hisense PX1-PRO.As above. Thanks please stay on topic.
From what I hear the 95A is better than the 95B, so you got a great deal there. We have just (3 days ago) bought a Samsung QN95A cos it's last years model and it was cheap-ish. Very pleased but have no idea where it stacks up against the opposition.
I think we are for the time being just talking about TVs, but thanks for the suggestion I will have a look. What about an ultra short throw projector? Is that staying on topic? Hisense PX1-PRO.
nope. And I would never consider spending that much on a TV.So a budget of £3000 and a size 65-inch TV. Any suggestions?
Agree. Way too much money for me to spend on TV. My 75-inch Sony was £1174 and I'm more than happy with it. I cannot imagine a £3000 TV will be three times better.nope. And I would never consider spending that much on a TV.
Apart from your LG OLED?! 😉I have decided just to keep my Samsung because there’s no other TV which is better or I want.
I do have a buyer lined up. Cheers giggsy! But if you aren't happy with the Samsung it'll bug you every time you watch it.
Sell the Samsung, enjoy your LG until it doesn't work any more and use the cash for something completely different.
Too muchI suppose the next best TV will be this micro LED 50 inch that Samsung are releasing this year. I wonder how much that will cost?
As you may have heard, LG is tweaking WebOS to simplify it for the G3 models at least & probably the entire range. It does seem to be the most controversial TV OS. I dislike the fact you can't keep an eye on whatever content you’re watching & the amount of screen estate dedicated to LG's advertising In the Home Screen.Anything that suits my budget and size.
