If I use an HDMI distribution amplifier, can I connect HDMI from my HTPC to it to output 2 HDMIs one for 5.1 sound to AVR and one to the TV for HDR?

Basically what the title says. Is that right? sounds like a noob question because it is. I've only known of HDMI splitters and only the cheap ones, haven't had any experience with something more high tech so forgive the ignorance.

I want the pc to output HDR video because it cannot be done currently through the AVR and the AVR also to get the 5.1 sound via HDMI passthrough.

I'm thinking of the DA2 HD 4K PLUS. Will it do that?

For reference my HTPC has a Ryzen 3200G with output from the Vega 8 it supports HDR video.

My TV is the Lg 55up75006lf and it has 2 HDMI ports, one has a firestick to it(which needs to stay there unbothered) and the other one with eARC has the HTPC via the AVR(Yamaha RX-V377 connected to it)

I just want to have HDR video and 5.1 sound HDMI passthrough without buying a new AVR. I'm ok with my 5.1 setup I just want to have HDR video too.
