Was talking to a person a couple of weeks back, he mentioned about the days of music centres.
I remember my old school mate's dad had a JVC music centre yet I can't find any photos on the internet. If I give you guys a description, hope you can help
JVC with a very high, silver fascia, containing lots of knobs and switches. The cassette player had really chunky switches. The lid was smoked, and compared to the chunky nature of the fascia it was very low -- looked very futuristic at the time.
Even though it goes back to the early 80s I can still remember the sound: Quite powerful and bass heavy, although can't recall any of the spec.
Any ideas?
