I seem to recall a thread which had instructions on how to set up a U.S. i-Tunes account, but cannot find it now.

Can anyone help? I want to do this so I can authorize the Disney file digital copy of Wall*E to transfer to my i-Pod.

I have the region 1 version of the DVD.

Handbrake for the mac works well for me when I want to put dvd video n my ipod.

Kel.

Yeah actually, not sure either of those will compress to iPod (never done it), you might need something else either in place of or as well as the ones I mention.

Handbrake works really well, it will take dvd, and other formats and convert them to ipod, or various other formats in a single pass, best of all it is free.

I have managed to find the post on the forum regarding setting up a U.S. i-tunes account.

Am all sorted and have Wall*E installed. Thanks for the tips regarding software though.

Hi NSYGrinenr,

ÿi believe that was one of my posts.ÿ

I wish all the DVD'S would allow a copy digital copy via itunes. I have a couple that you have to DL from the films studios website.

Your next move is to try and pick up an iTunes US gift card! the product on there is amazing. i'm really impressed with the HD TV shows!

I'm tempted to get rid of sky and put the monthly subscription towards the TV season passes! ÿ

You could also try Super for PC, a free video converter that claims to convert between more formats than any commercial program.

I've used it to convert videos for an iPac PDA, with good results. It gives full control over resolution, bitrate, aspect ratio, output format etc.

(You might have to trawl through the site to find the download page, it tends to be plastered with 'do not pay anyone for this software' type notices!)
