The Dynaudio Connect box that drives the speakers, wirelessly of course, has Spotify Connect built in. So that is literally all I need, bury the Connect box with the router and place the speakers wherever, just so long there is a mains socket.
I could connect my AEX to the Connect Toslink input to stream radio etc over airplay, not critical but handy.
