Personally, I don't think you'll benefit from it in your bedroom. You need a large room to really experience its ability. Your PV1D is more than adequate.
Thanks BB.

i think (without going overboard) an svs sb-2000 or arendal sub 1 would be quite adequate for your room. i plan to go duals this year (arendal sub 1)

Not sure if it's worth £2850. I would've gone for a specialist subwoofer like SVS SB16 ultra or SB4000 if it was me.

i'm drooling just thinking about owning the sb16 ultra

probably will never happen.

i agree there are much cheaper subs out there that will do the job i have a big room and the svs sb2000 is a very good sub that costs half of what you paid gel for the one you have now .

i would take the one you just brought back to the shop and buy a SVS sub and speak to david on here as he sells them *smile*

Cheers guys, problem is my parents think I have the best sub already and love the style of it and the sound in my system. Looks like no upgrades for me.

How old are you now Gel?

You still have to do what your parents say?

I reckon your amp should be your next upgrade anyway.

They just thought it was a waste of money and in the end I agreed with them. Not giving away private info on a forum. Nor should anyone else.

Fair enough (although I already know your age from a previous post, I won’t reveal).

Just sounds like it was another of your buy then cancel/return before using behaviours in action in the end.

You have good parents who are doing their best to protect you from yourself. You will thank them one day.
