Yep, quite agree Major. Thanks.

take some of that money you saved from NOT buying the sub, and treat your parents for just being parents and awesome
Yep, did that 2 weeks ago and bought them a LG 55b6v Oled brand new from John Lewis for £742 with a 5 year warranty on the John Lewis reduced to clear clearance website and a Panasonic ub400 to boot! I do treat them lots too.

Thanks. No offence or anything but you know nothing about my personal circumstances and nor does anyone else on here, so could you please stop talking like you do. Cheers.

Even iam thinking of adding a second sub in my HT setup. But have to get past my wife, who is a stickler for aesthetics. I don't have the kind of budget you are looking at. But after lots of research it's either between the svs pb2000 or the rythmik 15 inch servo sub. But again I prefer musical subs to out right depth and extension. May be you can try to audition them if possible. All the best

Only alluding to what you have told us in some detail on here in the past Gel, but of course circumstances can change.

All the best!

Unless they're breaking the law, then who, with or where people live, how people derive their income, and / or how much or how little they spend of it on AV gear is nobody else's business.

Cheers guys, problem is my parents think I have the best sub already and love the style of it and the sound in my system.  Looks like no upgrades for me.

How old are you now Gel?

You still have to do what your parents say?

I reckon your amp should be your next upgrade anyway.

Still looks after my finances. And the thought of him looking over my shoulder has a sobering influence on my spending. The whole kit in my signature is from my personal side savings or bonuses. I do crave for indipendence when smitten with upgraditis. But looking back, iam thankful for what he has done :)

I agree but Gel has shared most of the above info on this very forum!

He likes to tell us about his purchases, then often his cancellations or returns etc. Seems to be stuck in a cycle of some sort.

As before good luck to him, I find his posts entertaining and always interested to read what he makes of the latest products!

Yes we do. You've told us all sorts.

You can't air your dirty washing in public then call someone out for making a passing comment. People are already walking on egg-shells with you.

Am I being unfair, unreasonable or rude? Or can you see where I'm coming from? Hopefully the latter, because I'm not actually intending to be unfair, unreasonable nor rude.

Just because I refer to something in the past doesn’t mean it present and it definitely counts in this situation. I am not on benefits anymore, I am working and enjoying it, I still take all my medication and could well still be on benefits but I wanted to try and see what happens. So the days when people refer to me in those terms are definitely over now. I live with my parents like everybody knows and I can’t see that changing anytime soon - but so what I am perfectly fine with that it means I can spend money.

How about you Major? Still suffering from depression and on benefits?
