Good day!
I am using the Tidal desktop app on my Windows 10 laptop and outputting to an external DAC connected to my stereo system. In the Tidal app sound output settings, I can not select both exclusive mode and forced volume, I can only choose one or the other. Why can I not have both turned on?

I Can't turn on both exclusive mode and force volume at the same time when using RME ADI-2 DACs.
I am experiencing this on my Tidal app in my windows 10 PC.

if I turn on Force Volume first and then turn on Exclusive Mode, Exclusive Mode turns on but Force Volume then turns off. If I turn on Exclusive Mode first, the Force Volume sider becomes greyed out and can't be turned on.

Does anyone have the same experience? Or anyone knows what is the fix? Or is this an expected outcome?

Isn't that how the RME is designed? I can't re all fully because it was a whole ago, but I decided the RME wasn't for me for some reason that it it couldn't be configured for.
Sorry, that's not really helpful, what does the manual say?
