I bought a Humax HDR box a few months ago to replace my Sky+.
I was looking to save money on the subscription and the Humax got excellent reviews everywhere, in fact I have never seen 1 bad review.
The picture quality and sound are very good.
However, mine suffers from frequent freezes, it is annoying slow on the programme guide and the media menus are near useless. It doesn't always allow program selection and recording from the guide without "reserving" programs.
I am regretting the purchase and wish I had kept my Sky subscription and took a deal for a HD upgrade.
Has anyone had similar problems?
