All you need is a splitter at the receiver end. Like this

I'm guessing the 1900 is very similar to the 1700 which I own. ÿUse the subwoofer pre-out thats on the back with a single RCA cable.

What kind of cables are you using to connect your AV receiver to the subwoofer?

Big Chris:Of course, if your sub has an out as well as an in, you won't need the splitter.

Is this effectively 'daisychaining' the subs?

Andrew Everard:Standard phono-to-phono subwoofer cable - like a single standard interconnect, but longer.

Hi Andrew,

My B&W PV1 subwoofer manual states to use a coaxial interconnect cable. Would this be the same thing as the standard analogue interconnect cables?

What is the difference between a coaxial cable and a standard analogue cable and what exactly does the digital and analogue refer to?

For example, I'm assuming that all speaker cables are analogue but then for the subwoofer, the manual is suggesting a digital coaxial cable?

Also, why is there a need for digital cables to transport sound when the final sound coming out of the speakers are using analogue cables anyway?
