Hello Specialists in the HiFi world
If I may want to have direct conection to the ethernet (not wifi and not bluetooth) what reciver I may buy? I considered the CambridgeAudio CXA61 but this may need a seperate streamer wich I would like to avoid.
What may give best sound quality?

The CXA61 is an amplifier, if you want to stream music you will need something like a CXN V2 (also from Cambridge) and of course the amplifier.
If you have more money you could buy the EVO 75 (https://www.cambridgeaudio.com/gbr/en/products/evo/evo-75) again from Cambridge.

I list the Cambridge options since it is what I liked and was able to buy, but there are many other options on the market from many cheaper and expensive brands.

I own an Audiolab 6000a play & it’s a great piece of kit for the money. Many of the criticisms of the unit are based on the Play-Fi app which is a bit clunky, however as a Spotify user you will use Spotify connect which will give you gapless play back & a very smooth user friendly interface.

When I auditioned I also listened to a blue sound node plugged into an Audiolab 6000a (non play version). I compared both Spotify & Tidal on the blue sound. In the end I personally preferred the sound using Spotify Connect even though it was streaming at a lower quality technically than tidal. If I’d purchased just off reviews I’d defiantly gone with the blue sound & Tidal. Just proves how valuable it is to audition kit if you can, as we all have different ears.

The Audiolab will work with a direct Ethernet cable connection into your router & wifi connection. If iam honest I can’t tell the difference on my sytem between the two, but it’s great to be able to have the ability to connect direct especially if your Wi-Fi is prone to dropping out. If your defiantly using Spotify then the Audiolab 6000a play is a great value piece of kit, Andrew Robinson hifi gave it his product of the year award for 2021.

Question: Is it possible to just plug the ethernet to the USB input with a convertor as in the picture here:Screenshot_20230122-190923_AliExpress.jpg

No.
The USB on the CXA61 is a USB audio only receiver (USB DAC).
It won't act like a USB host.
If you plug in a PC (USB host) it will work)

Have a look at WiiM for a affordable streaming connection. Use its digital out into the CXA61
