Hello all,

This is my first ever post on the forum, so please be gentle 

 

I was lucky enough to get hold of the Q Acoustics QAV 5.1 system for £300 from the Wednesbury Currys mega sale.  Now I need some help with the rest of the system.  I'm definitely going for the Pioneer LX5090 and was looking at the Sony 2400ES amp.  But I'm seriously tempted by the Yamaha 863SE, even though I've seen the 2400ES for about £150 less.  Is it worth the extra money?  Also, can you recommend a good Subwoofer and Optical Cable for less than £30 each?

I guess if you can afford it, go for the Yamaha.

As for the cables, try HiFicables - Sub Cables and Optical.
