High-End setup

Hi. I am planning to upgrade my system from mid to high end in the near future but my room is only 4x6 meters. Is it alright to setup a high end system with this size of room? If so, can you please give some suggestions on what brands of receivers and speakers for me to start a high end setup. Thanks.
