I've been wondering around at this website for some days, reading reviews on several pieces of equipment to build a small Hi Fi system. I live in a small flat and have a tight budget, so I'm searching for a good Micro.
On amps, I'm considering these two: Marantz M-CR502 or the Arcam Solo Mini. I'd go for the latter, but the budget may be too tight. For speakers I'm thinking of the award wining Wharfedale Diamond 10.1.
My question is: with such a small central unit, is it worth to go for better speakers than the Diamond 10.1? Such as the DALI Lektor 2 or Lektor 1? I wont be helding rave parties at home, just the regular late day introspective auditions.
