Help VESA Adaptor Plate 400 x 400 ? for Samsung 40 LED

Hello having recently bought a new Samsung C6620 I hoped it would be fairly straight forward attatching to my cantilever swivel mount, which has a VESA 200 x200 plate which had a Sony D3000 "32" on it.

So i thought no sweat i'll just hunt for a 400 x 400 Adaptor Plate.

3 Hours later and still nothing,.

Help please

Hello Rob,

I had this exact problem when i changed my tv 3 or 4 months back! The only way around this is by contacting the manufacturer of the mount who in my case was able to ship me the plate to allow me to fit my new tv without buying a new bracket BUT a word of warning it usually comes down to what mount you bought in the first place as to whether or not the manufacturer can help you as not all mounts can use an adaptor plate! Also bare in mind you may have to pay although i was only charged for delivery.

As far as i am aware you won't find a solution on the net to this as the variables are so high, different manufacturers, differing sizes and construction methods etc all mean it's impossible to make a 'one size fits all' adapter plate and means that the original manufacturer of your mount is the only hope here....or a new mount of course!
