Help - Panasonic G10 Setup Issues

I recently purchased a Panasonic 42 G10 Plasma tv. I currently have a standard Sky Box connected via a Scart socket. However the tv seems to switch itself off - the screen goes black and the green power light starts flashing, the tv then displays the picture again. This is intermittent and can sometimes happen frequently or after a couple of hours.

Has anyone else experienced this? any help would be appreciated?

The G10 has an 'off timer', which is the only function on the TV that will cause an automatic shutdown; though this should only happen after a minimum period of 15 minutes, and you would have to enable this setting. Sounds like the TV might be faulty. I would contact the retailer, explain the problem, and demand a replacement. Don't let it put you off, though. The G10 is very good... assuming it works.
