Recently I bid on a naim power amp (nap 150) but now I realise that they use DIN connections. Will this prevent me from using it with either my dac or headphone amp as a pre? I notice cord do a 2rac to 4-DIN will this work?

I'm panicking here because there is only a few hours left on the auction and I'm still the highest bidder, I will not rebid but if I win I get it for £160. I know it was stupid of me to bid without auditioning, researching etc but it was a spur of the moment thing, I'm sure we have all done it.

Its very easy to get normal RCA to 5 pin din Naim interconnects - not a problem. System matching might be an issue though. Don't sweat it though, Naim equipment holds its value and it'll sell again on ebay.

I think someone will top your bid anyway.

The NAP 150 4-pin DIN carries both signal IN and power OUT between amp and pre-amp. BE VERY CAREFUL with cables, or you will blow something up. You may need to get one made up specially by someone who knows what he is doing...
