Hi all, i have a bit of a dilema. now i have started to build my system up and need some ideas on a solution, i currently have the below mentioned equiptment in an oak tv unit which i have had for some time, everything fits perfectly and the tv sits on top and this was fine when i was running just 2 channels, but now i want to add a center channel and i can't put the speaker in the unit as there is no room and i can't put it on top as the tv is there, i was thinking of building a box which would house the speaker and the tv could sit on top but i think that would look a bit tacky. my wife loves the oak unit and i don't think i could perswade her to let me spend money on a new one at the moment. really all i need to do is raise the tv 6 inches or so, but because the tv base is so big i'm finding it hard to come up with any solutions, any ideas?

hi daveh75, my tv sits infront of a bay window so thats not possible either unfortunatly. she who should be obayed just caught me looking at alphason av cabinets on line and said "ah good your getting rid of that c**py oak unit its about time" i was a bit shocked as she loved that or so i thought. anyway looks like i have the green light for a new av cabinet so problem solved. just need to find one that does'nt cost thousands. thanks for your help
