First let me say hello! I been trying to decide on a new pair of headphones for a long time and I figured I'd stop by and ask you all for some recommendations.

Currently I have Focal Clears and LCD-2 Fazors. I have a Burson Conductor 3 Reference as my main source. I been wanting to upgrade my setup for a long time. I love the bass on my LCD-2's and the clarity of my Focal Clears. I also have DT-1990 Pros but there just too bright. Basically I'm looking for a Focal Clear and LCD-2 hybrid of sorts. My budget is around $1000. I been considering the HifiMan Arya Stealth and at $600 its a easy purchase. What else should I consider and is this a good choice? I mainly listen to Techno, EDM, and R&B for my music but I also use these for all my movie and cinema needs.

P.S. If you think theres a better amp/DAC for my needs and have compared it to the Burson please let me know!

Hi Mythy welcome to the forum.
I love the sound from planar magnets, the music doesn't suffer from distortion as much as dynamic in the low frequencies. I assume you're looking for open back headphones.

Many people seem to favour the top end Sennheiser's, they have excellent bass but I've also heard from others, these tend to be a one trip ponies, yes granted, bias and unqualified comment from me!
The discontinued Focal's Elegias I use to own, super impressed me. Does everything right, not bright, well balanced headphone. I suspect this is the signature trait for all Focal headphones.
The Beyerdynamic Amiron headphones I own are based on the DT1990 but tweaked not to sound like studio headphones, silky smooth, very similar to the Focal's.

If you're interested in the HIfiman's HE1000 Stealth are greatly reduced - see links below. Slightly above your budget.

Caveat, apologies if you're not UK based, I suspect you'll find similar prices.

If you want to be brave, on AliExpress they're selling the version 2 for the same price! Always make sure it's a reputable seller.

The HifiMan - ARYA Stealth makes perfect sense as they're priced sensibly below £600 - see link
