I need a TV ASAP... No more waiting.

help me decide from a noobie who just likes watching good shows via amazon fire tv, blu ray movies ( NO SPORTS NO CABLE TV)

Room is 15'x25' with roughly 11' from the SET

I would like to spend between 2k - 3k (Might go up some if need be)
Id like to be 70-75" but would probably get a better quality 65" if I have to;
I never really owned a good tv only had roughly 32" so Id like advice on the best size if possble at my seating position.

What do you think?

thanks folks

About a month ago I was in Richer Sounds and asked them about a 75" television, and whether at that size to go for 4K or 1080p. They said definitely to go for 4K, which does make it more expensive. Also, at your viewing distance of 11 feet, I would say 75" rather than 65". In my kitchen I have a 60" set, an LG60PZ950T, which though not perfect I'm now very fond of. However, one failing that can't be overcome is that my usual viewing distance of 11 feet I wish that it were bigger, and to have an increase over 60" you have to go to at least 70", 65" would not be enough. So I'll push you towards a 75". At anything like sensible money, there are two contenders, both now, at £4,000 with six-year guarantee, £500 less than their initial prices of six months ago. And both of them FLAT, thank goodness!

The Samsung UE75JU7000 http://www.richersounds.com/product/tv---all/samsung/ue75ju7000/sams-ue75ju7000.

The Sony KD75X8505C http://www.richersounds.com/product/tv---all/sony/bravia-kd75x8505c/sony-kd75x8505cbu.

I don't think that there are any reviews at the 75-inch sizes, but if you google the model numbers but with 65 inches instead of 75, there are good reviews.

Lastly just now, both of these televisions are 2015 models. Don't be tempted to buy a 2014 model going cheap, the 2015 ones are better, said Richer Sounds.
