Help for a Home Cinema starter-outer

Hi. My old Panasonic CRT with built in surround sound has done me proud for ten years or so but it's time to part!! From reviews I fancy a Philips 32PFL7404. I also want to put in blu-ray. I have a Sony PVR which is staying to serve as a recorder. My concern is sound and I'd like to keep surround ... but don't need or want earth shaking performance (and neither do the neighbours). Nor do I want loads of boxes. So I was interested in either the Panasonic SC-BT200 or the Sony BDV-E300 blu-ray/all in one players/amps which just got a good review in WHSAV. But can I hook these up so that they deliver sound from the TV receiver??

You'll be able to connect the TV to the system via Toslink or RCA connections. Personally I would go for the toslink option if the TV has this output available.
