I saw that. Seems to be a Chi-fi clone. Looks good and was tempted but...

It is a clone!
Sound quality really good, bettered by the Singxer and latter bettered by the Gustard.

Hmmm there's an Audalytic on ebay for £190 - down from £210 and only 1 other watcher... I feel a double purchase coming up haha (my dear wife has approved the shelving unit upgrade in principle, so the size issue could be resolved).

The only concern is the 1 watcher - meaning if I decide to keep the Lehmann and move on the Audalytic, it might be hard to shift.

The Audalytic is little brother to the Gustard, the sound quality should be excellent.
It'll be interesting to see how it compares to the Lehmann.
I think the latter will be a little drier and busier and The Audalytic a bit richer and fuller sounding.
I could be off, good to compare and keep the one you like best.

Ha! I asked a couple of AI bots to run through reviews and draw a comparison and the results were almost opposite. But that's the problem when reviews are scarce as are for both Audalytic and Lehmann - AI starts making stuff up haha.

Well, waiting for a £230 refund from the returned used Clear, once I get it, I might just go for it! And who knows? Maybe I'll keep both, one to be used at my desk while working...

Hahaah to be honest, I did it for the first time last week after I got the (first pair of) Focal. I normally just use my desktop speakers.
And to be even more honest, I normally remember I am listening to music after about a dozen songs have come and gone, entirely unnoticed.

So yeah "maybe" you're right 🤣
