Hello fellow audiophiles,
I've been noticing lately a lot of distortion and in general lossy performance of audio through my Bluetooth headphones and iPhone. I really would rather not add to the gear graveyard of devices I've tried, so really just looking for the best headphones for the money that offer the following:
Bluetooth
Over the ear
Noise canceling
I will use these to listen to audiobooks, music, podcasts, and am not opposed to a high ticket item ($400-$500 would be acceptable at the most, but obviously would like to keep it lower if possible).
Already tried both the Beats and Beats NC - way too much overkill in the bass and I can hear the distortion in bass without much tonality in the treble. Is what I'm looking for even out there? Given up on earbuds a while ago, having tried Jaybird X4, Run XT, Airpods, and others of that ilk. Would rather just find something superior and be done with it. Suggestions?
