Just got the 555 and tryng to set up. unfortunately it won't recognise my Denon 2500BT. I've tried the remote to remote thingy with brand new Duracell batteries and still got a problem with it.

Surely the Denon must be on Lodgitechs database?

Is there a way round this, or am I missing something?

Logitech's remote codes for the Denon 2500BT are one of the few sets of codes that I found were actually set up reasonably well - but that's with the Harmony 1100 - maybe the code set for the 555 comes from a different database at Logitech's end? Obviously, you'll need to try a new set of batteries first...

Update:

Sent back to Dixons on-line who said a new one will be with me in approx 10 days

(cross them off my list)

Have emailed Logitech in case the 555 's are a dodgy batch, being anolder model they have probably been on the shelf for a while.

Have bought a new pack of AAA's (won't chance the supplied ones again)

The Logitech database is shared amongst all their models so shouldn't be a problem.I had problems initially with my 555 with my Panasonic TV.Having emailed Logitech a real person replied and sorted my problem out over the next three days.Brilliant service so it's worth persisting and utilising it if you have problems with the new batteries!
