Hama USB 3 cable

Just recieved my Hama USB 3 A to B cable. 1.8m for £6.95. Made in Germany.

- Gold-plated plug with low contact resistance.

- Double shielding.

- The inner conductor is made of copper.

It's not made for HiFi but it's thicker than a standard USB 3.

I'm not going talk about any sonic improvments, for obvious reasons.

But it's a PRETTY GOOD cable.

I always advocate the use of decent quality, well made cables for hi-fi and tend to use the same criteria for computer stuff.

All part of the 'good housekeeping' approach that I advocate on a regular basis for the setting up of a hi-fi setup. My knowledge of computers and networking is a lot less comprehensive but even there I have found various techniques that help with the reliable streaming of services such as Spotify and Tidal.
