My Samsung has developed a problem were there are tons of why stripes in the corner, it was not like this when I got it, and the blacks are turning grey.

I have played with the settings until blue in the face, even no backlight and its still there.

I can return it as got from costco and its under 90 days.

Seen the le8900 for 900 and was wondering.. does full led have backlight problems.

Thanks

That's a shame Canada I remember you where really pleased with this set.

I think all LCD TV's regardless of how they are lit, CCFL, edge or Full LED exhibit some form of clouding, it's just what extent dependant on how good the set is.

You might want to try a plasma, my set can be had for a good price now, it's not got the best black levels and does suffer from a little IR, but overall I think it's excellent for the money and the aesthetics are spot on.

All technologies seem to have their problems.

By the way, did you ever find a way to force a 3D signal through the LX72?

Hey, I was over the moon with the TV, but it seems to be getting worse.

Its a shame that even Full LED still has backlight problems, it kinda leaves me stuck.

I cant really have a plasma, because my TV faces a really bright window, and cant move it really, I had a panasonic plasma, and during the night, it was amazing, but we had to close all the blinds during the day, which was not great.

I never did the force, because my TV is not 3D, I am waiting for a 3d tv that either doesnt need glasses, or really just to see were its going before I buy.
